A: Please get in touch with us as soon as possible. If your order has not gone in to manufacturing we can help you.
Q: The tool will not let me enter the measurements I want?
A: Our Staircase Builder Tool is designed to comply with relevant building regulations. If you have selected any applicable regulations, it will adhere to these parameters. But, we offer an option to design without regulations, if it is applicable to your project. This can be selected at the top of the ‘Layouts & Measurements’ section of the Stair Builder Tool. In case you are still having difficulties please feel free to contact us for assistance.
Q: I don’t understand some of the terminology used in the Staircase Builder Tool.
A: Please visit the help & Resources section, then click the ‘Staircase Terminology’ header for a breakdown of terminology used. Some parts of the Stair Builder tool also have a ‘(i)’ icon which you can click for more information.
Q: How do I correctly measure the staircase?
A: Please take a look at our ‘Help & Resources’ section, then select ‘Measuring your Stairs’ to find information on measuring your staircase. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Q: What types of staircase do you offer?
A: We offer straight, quarter turn and half turn staircases – in cut or closed string construction. The staircase can be tailored to your requirements and options added as required.
Q: What materials can I choose from?
A: Pine, Oak, MDF and Plywood are all used in the construction of our staircases. Components can be specified in individual materials using the Staircase Builder Tool. We use FSC and PEFC certified materials.
Q: How are your staircases manufactured?
A: We use the latest CNC technology to provide the best quality staircases with micro precision in the production. This coupled with our expert team of joiners ensure we only deliver the best products to customers.
Q: Who builds your staircases?
A: MrStairs.com is PARS Joinery Ltd company. PARS Joinery was formed in 2006 and have grown as an industry leader in the field. Each product we make is meticulously checked during each stage of production by our team of craftspeople. This includes CNC operators, master joiners and quality control officers.
Q: What is the timescale for delivery?
A: We aim to have your staircase with you within 7 – 10 working days (Mainland England). This will be confirmed after we receive your order.
Q: Can my staircase be collected from you?
A: Yes, usually it will be quicker to collect the staircase than having it delivered. We can confirm a collection date once the order has come through and will contact you with this information.
Q: How heavy is the staircase?
A: A typical staircase can weigh upwards of 100KG. This is why we offer the option of a 2 man delivery in the event that there is no one to help off load the staircase.
